La La Land gik hen og vandt SYV golden globes, og blev aftens helt store vinder. Begge skuespillere, instruktør, manuskript, musikken vandt priser! Og så vandt filmen også for bedste komedie eller musical.
Prisen for bedste film i dramakategorien blev ‘Moonlight’. Og den franske Elle vandt to priser, heriblandt bedste udenlandske film.

Hele starten med bilerne og sangen de synger (selvfølgelig med en del ændringer i teksten), er fra La La Land. Ligeledes er klaverscenen, sangen de synger der og dansescenen i himlen. Og det kan siges at være ret passende, når man ser på antallet af golden globes til netop La La Land!
